In combat sports, everything counts – from endurance and strength to agility and reflexes. Motor skills training for MMA, boxing, kickboxing, and judo athletes is the absolute foundation of effective competition. My training includes comprehensive physical preparation that enhances effectiveness in both attack and defense.
I focus on developing explosive strength – crucial for landing powerful punches and executing dynamic moves. At the same time, we work on aerobic and anaerobic capacity so that the athlete can maintain an intense pace throughout the fight, regardless of the round. Training also includes work on reaction speed, coordination, and balance.
Mental resilience is a crucial aspect. Combat sports athletes must be able to function under enormous stress. Endurance and interval training teach the body to adapt to challenging conditions and help overcome fatigue barriers.
I tailor my training program to the individual – a boxer has different needs than a judoka or MMA fighter. I combine elements of functional, strength, and mobility training to ensure athletes are physically complete and less susceptible to injury.
My goal is for every athlete to feel confident when entering the ring or on the mat, have a fitness advantage over their opponent, and be able to utilize their full potential.
